Nan Richardson
Grant Writer
Nan Richardson is a grant writer at Harbor, and works toward a long-range vision for Harbor's future in her longtime role as Chair of SEA Committee (School, Expansion, Advocacy) which she started as past PTA President (her two children, Isabella and James Karsch, went to Harbor).
She led the charge for hundreds of parents to advocate and secure the two new 80-million dollar buildings for the school to fulfill its mission with a pool and gym and space for longterm growth, secured a new internet system (600K), a major electrical upgrade to the MAST, and over 2 million more in grants, drawing on decades of experience as a book publisher, author, curator, and theater producer.
Nan is eager to work on this next iteration of Harbor, especially on transition issues, and enrichment opportunities and to raise the bar for all students at this very special school.
