The ferry to Governors Island operates between the Battery Maritime Building (BMB) in Lower Manhattan and Soissons Dock on Governors Island.  The trip is approximately 8 minutes in duration. The BMB Is accessible by the subway; the 1 train to South Ferry, R train to Whitehall/South Ferry, and the 4 or 5 trains to Bowling Green. Bus service to Lower Manhattan includes: M5, M20, M15, BM1, BM2, BM3, BM4.

The school is located 550 Short Avenue on Governors Island, about a seven minute walk from Soissons Dock.
