The Welding & Fabrication program’s curriculum is based on the American Welding Society’s Fundamentals of Welding platform AWS Fundamentals of Welding Curriculum Package Overview. Subjects such as welding safety, four arc welding processes, three thermal cutting processes, reading welding symbols, weld inspection and others are covered in the course. These courses are directly aligned with the written and practical exams taken during the 12th grade.
Students also have the opportunity to attend several industry-based field trips over the course of the three years of the program. Internships are available to candidates that qualify.
