Andrew Mills

I am a special education and math teacher at the New York Harbor School, where I prioritize building strong connections with students and supporting their success in every way I can. Before teaching, I earned my undergraduate degree in TV and film production from Indiana University and a master’s degree in special education from Pace University as a New York City Teaching Fellow.

Over the years, I’ve also served the Harbor School community as a rowing coach, SCUBA diver, and after-school dean. In addition to teaching, I’ve built a second career as a video producer and writer, and I continue to enjoy creative projects in writing, filmmaking, and storytelling.

Outside the classroom, I love reading, watching movies, and exploring New York City.
