


Erica Flashman
Social Worker
Erica Flashman is passionate about working with young people and has almost 20 years of experience as a social worker working in New York City Public Schools.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College where she was a Child Welfare Fund Fellow, and an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Erica is dedicated to helping students navigate the challenges of school life and life beyond the school walls.
Erica works closely with students, families, and staff to provide counseling, support, crisis management, and referral resources. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where all students can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Erica has experience running restorative justice initiatives, mentoring programs, and writing and teaching social-emotional learning curriculum.
