George Pingeon

George Pingeon is a special education teacher and coach of the Harbor Sharks boys soccer team.

George is a New Yorker who grew up in France and returned to the United States as an adult, where he studied geography in college and worked as a NYC tour guide. He became a teacher as a NYC Teaching Fellow in 2017 and joined the NY Harbor School, specializing in science and math and addressing the needs of all students. George is an advocate of the Step Up program, whose mission is to reduce the exclusion of students and promote access to physics majors and careers in STEM.

He is the proud father of two children, Lucien and Billie.
