Joseph Caramanno

Joseph "Joey" Caramanno was born in Brooklyn and raised on Staten Island.

He has taught Social Studies classes in private, charter, and public schools. He joined the faculty of UA New York Harbor School in September 2024 and is privileged to work with students in such a unique setting. Joey earned a B.S. in Communications from the College of Staten Island, M.S.Ed. in Adolescent Education from Wagner College, and a M.A. in Criminal Justice from John Jay College.

When not in the classroom he spends time acting, traveling, running, reading, playing guitar, and watching the New York Mets.
