Katharine Case
English & Peer Collaborative Teacher
Katharine Case, the ELA department lead, is a public high school teacher with sixteen years of experience in the classroom, currently on a professional development sabbatical through CUNY.
She is a student-centered educator dedicated to collaborative learning, authentic engagement, and writing on demand as well as a peer coach focused on sharing effective practices to promote equitable access to academic rigor systemwide.
She holds a BA in Communications and Cultural Studies from Hampshire College, an MFA in Writing and Consciousness from New College of California, and a MA in English Education from Brooklyn College.
She is also a writer, currently working on a novel.
