Kurt Schreiber

Kurt Schreiber has worked at the Harbor School since 2023 as a Special Education Teacher.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Kurt has lived in Brooklyn since 2020. Prior to becoming a teacher in the Department of Education, Kurt worked for the United States Peace Corps in Indonesia, the Japan-Exchange and Teaching Program in Tokyo, the International Rescue Committee, and the Community College of Denver.

Kurt holds a Master's Degree in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelors in History from the University of Colorado. He currently is the staff advisor for The Harbor Headlines and Yearbook Club.
