Rick Lee

Rick Lee has been a teacher at the New York Harbor School for over 21 years.  He created the Ocean Engineering program in an attempt to get students to use underwater robots to be more interested and skilled in STEM careers.

Rick has been a commercial salmon fisherman in Southeast Alaska for over 10 years and prefers to spend his summers either fishing or running a charter sailboat, S/V Sunset, on short trips throughout New York Harbor. A lover of music and poetry, Rick plays both the accordion and the harmonica and is currently learning the guitar.
