Stephen Spinato

Stephen Spinato was born in Bethpage, New York.

He grew up in a laborer's family.  Working in construction and as a laborer himself, Stephen gained an Associate's degree in Fine Art, a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and a Graduate degree in education.  

Stephen understands the value and freedom inherent in labor, as well as the privilege embedded in the idea and practice of academia.  As a student, Stephen struggled through his perceived contradictions in phonics and found solace in the rules and transparency of math and science. 

At Harbor, Stephen Supervises Big Green Theater and Coaches the Softball team.
