February is Black History Month, and here at Harbor we will be Sailing Through History;
Inspiring the Future.

Throughout the month, we have a series of events and activities planned that we encourage our students to participate in, as well as opportunities for our entire Harbor community to come out and enjoy. Each day, we will be sharing a short poem, an excerpt from a story, or a fun and informative Black History fact over the loudspeakers. These daily moments are meant to enlighten, educate, and celebrate the richness of Black culture and the impact of Black history.
Our goal is to create space for learning, reflection, and appreciation as we honor the voices, stories, and contributions that have shaped our past and continue to inspire our future.
We also welcome your ideas and contributions. If there is something you would like to see highlighted for Black History Month—whether on our bulletin boards or on our Instagram—please feel free to share it with us. Community voices help make this celebration meaningful and powerful.

Thank you for continuing to support and celebrate our shared history here at Harbor. We look forward to a month filled with learning, pride, and connection.
Warm regards,
Mosaic Committee
