Hispanic Heritage Month"Open Mic"
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our Harbor School community is filled with talented individuals who have developed valuable skills through their careers, education, military service, trades, entrepreneurship, and life experiences.
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month we are looking for volunteers interested in participating in a brief 10-minute "Open Mic" discussion with our students. This is an opportunity to share your professional journey, transferable skills, lessons learned, and advice for success.
Date: October 9th
Time: 3-5pm
Location: Mess Hall
Topics might include:
Career pathways
Leadership and teamwork
Communication skills
Problem-solving
Resilience and perseverance
Industry-specific experiences
