BMCC STEP

Dear Harbor School Community,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to the school year! I'm excited to share an incredible opportunity that was brought to my attention for our students in grades 7-12.

The Borough of Manhattan Community College's Science & Technology Entry Program (BMCC STEP) is now accepting applications for their Fall 2025 session. After a successful summer filled with amazing learning experiences, they are opening applications for their fall program.

What is BMCC STEP? This outstanding program is designed to increase participation of historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students in mathematics, science, technology, and health-related fields. BMCC STEP provides NYC students with academic enrichment courses, hands-on research experience, and specialized programming in STEM content areas.

Program Details:

• Location: Borough of Manhattan Community College, 199 Chambers Street, New York, NY 10007

• Program Schedule: October 3rd - December 19th, 2025 (Fridays from 4:00pm - 7:00pm)

• Application Deadline: September 26th, 2025

• Orientation: September 29th, 2025
