Calling All College Bound Seniors!

Greetings!

Interested in receiving an $800 stipend and being prepared for college? Then take a leap and join HEAP (Help, Excel and Progress)!

Do you know a first-generation college-bound senior who is in need of additional help with the college process? If so, please share the attached application/flyer with them and encourage them to apply.

Here at University Settlement, our focus has been on quality college access services for our NYC students and fortunately, we have created a new initiative called HEAP (Help, Excel, and Progress). HEAP is an incentive- based college success program that provides FREE individualized services to high school seniors until their sophomore year of college.

What Does This Mean?

Students who are a part of this program will receive guidance from the very beginning of their college process with assistance in completing college applications, financial aid applications, and the matriculation process. Students will also be offered academic classes in math and English to ensure they are academically ready for those college classes. In addition to having their own college advisor, students will have the ability to receive FREE services from University Settlement's mental health clinicians for themselves and their families.

For more information, check out the attached flyer and our workshops date.  Please access the application linked here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc_p6b-vFwc2LsrrIHI0HHAzb4nxXE_x4vX3rO9iFV6FXtZIg/viewform

Program Location:
