Dear Harbor Families,

We’re excited to share a fantastic summer opportunity for teens aged 16–19 who are interested in education, science, or working with children!

The Tiny Scientist is offering a Summer Program designed for students who are curious about becoming future educators or classroom assistants. This is a fun and rewarding way for teens to gain experience in a bright, educational environment while giving back to the community.

Program Highlights:

  • Ages 16–19 welcome

  • 16 hours of volunteer/training required

  • Earn $15/hour after training and one-on-one mentorship with a senior staff member

  • Possible future work during school holidays

  • Location: The Tiny Scientist (local science education center)

Work Weeks Available:

  • August 11–15

  • August 18–22

  • August 25–29

If your teen is interested, or if you have any questions, please contact Sharon directly at info@thetinyscientist.com.

*Please note: This opportunity is not sponsored by New York Harbor School. We are sharing it as a resource that may be of interest to families.
